The stout is more like a porter, and the porter was more like a dark brown, but both were good. I sometimes drop by to see what their seasonals are because those are usually the best. Sometimes the seasonals are great surprises and always at least good. Come in after 10 pm and the beers are cheaper.

I normally stay out of chain brewpubs, but after reading the reviews here I thought I'd give this place a try. I really enjoyed their beers. The Dream Catcher was very light, good for those hot days you get in the Valley of the Sun. El Hefe Hefeweizen had a unique flavor, I could not pick up any clove flavor or banana aroma. Desert Trial Pale Ale had a great aroma and flavor, the hops really came through. Raptor Red had a slightly sweet caramel taste. Roadrunner Brown had a semi sweet chocolate flavor. Saguaro Stout was dispensed with nitrogen giving it a creamy smooth texture. The sampler came with 7 beers, the seasonal had a nice hoppy finish. All beers were true in color and taste. The Steak I had was also very good and cooked to perfection. Becky was my server and was friendly, and very knowledgeable about the beers. The only negative was the people smoking upstairs, try as they might with fans, you still can smell thier smoke. When is Arizona going to ban smoking in restaurants? Better yet when are people going to have common courtesy and not smoke in restaurants.

Ok this is a Rock Bottom, yes it is a chain, but this is the best damn Rock Bottom I have ever been to!! The beer here is very good, the service is superb, the staff is knowledgeable about the beer, and the food is tasty as well!! So on with the ratings!!!
Dream Catcher Light: Light color, and flavor clean finish, made for the Bud Light Crowd! 2 Stars
Singletrack Copper Ale: Nice roasty malt flavor, creamy mouthfeel, with a nice clean finish, and a slight hoppy background flavor.. 3 1/2 stars
Roadrunner Brown: Hints of chocolate, slight nutty flavor, very good american style brown ale.. 3 1/2 stars
Saguaro Stout: Very nice creamy mouthfeel, although listed as an oatmeal stout, this is more of a milk stout, wonderful aroma, and hints of chocolate, a damn fine brew... 3 1/2 stars.
Pumpkin Porter: Dessert in a glass, great balance of pumpkinand spice, not overpowering, well balanced with a fantastic creamy porter, this is a winner for winter!!! 4 stars
Dunkelweisse: Very true to style and damn tasty, nice Bannana and clove finish, a true treat... 4 stars
El Heffe Hefeweizen: Very true to style, a great Bavarian Heffe, wonderful balance of Bananna and clove, very clean finish, this is a very good beer....4 stars
Gila Pale Ale: Nice American style pale ale, nice hop profile, and clean crisp finish, a good beer... 3 1/2 stars
Cask Conditioned Pale Ale: Very Very nice cask conditioning really mellows this already fine brew, nice hoppy clean taste, this is purew enjoyment for a true beer lover....4 1/2 stars
Ale Mary: This is a fantastic Belgian duppel, this beer is so damn good!!! Wonderful yeasty flavors with hints of raisin, this is a great beer!!! 5 stars
Give this place a try, for a chain it is damn good!!! Prost!!!!

This is an excellent example of what a great brew pub is all about. Seating outdoors, friendly waitstaff, excellent choice of beer and the food closes the deal. If your in the area this is worth a stop. Tour the facility, the staff is very helpful and the equipment is very strategically located.

This is a great place to come for wonderful food, a wide beer selection and a great atmosphere. You can come alone, with a group, with your kids -- for dinner, a party or just a happy hour get-together. While some of the beer is pretty hoppy, it's all very good and they have a wide enough selection that any beer drinker can find a favorite. The hefe and the stout are both fabulous.

If you like semi-boring beer, this place is for you. Nothing hoppy... The stout is pretty good though, very chocolatey. Great food and atmosphere!
